Face · jaw · neck · breath · posture · awareness
Begin here. Light your candle and resin, settle into your seat, and let the sound move through the jaw, throat, and chest. The exercises follow.
Consistency without pressure.
Anchor a glass of water to each practice.
Rate each area 1–5. Lower is better.
Frankincense — steadiness, breath, and contemplative spaciousness. Sandalwood — cooling and grounding. Lavender — evening release. Sweet orange — warmth and welcome. Eucalyptus lightly, when sinuses feel heavy.
Choose something warm, cooked, and hydrating: stewed pear with cardamom, oats with cinnamon, or soft basmati congee with a little ghee. Good teas: tulsi, chamomile, rose, and fennel.
Make it part of the ritual. One glass after practice. One before breakfast. One mid-afternoon. Herbal tea counts. The body needs water to release held fascia.
Rest as the awareness in which body, breath, and sound arise.
Nothing needs to be forced. The unnecessary holding can dissolve.
Your focus will be on the body. Silence works well, or open a playlist in Spotify and return when it's playing.
